Full Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and post monthly journal entries
Maintain bank & balance sheet reconciliations
and roll-forwards
Develop and maintain strong internal controls
with a focus on cash handling processes
Work closely with Management to ensure
adequate communication between
the departments resulting in accurate
financial treatment of transactions
Identify areas for improvement
and set up new processes for changes
in the operational environment
Lead month-end close process
for all assigned entities
Prepare and compile consolidated
financial statements for all assigned entities
Prepare month end reports for management
and operators
Protect organization’s value
by keeping information confidential
Aid in the compliance of policy & procedures
Preform random Cash, Compliance & Physical Inventory Audits and reconcile inventory
sub-ledger to the general ledger
(occasional travel may be required)
Preparation of supporting schedules
for annual financial statements
and external audit
Prepare payroll information
and process and record pay checks.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or Business
No experience required.
Understanding of GAAP.
Extreme attention to detail,
high level of professionalism,
and excellent communication skills.
Strong proficiency with MS Excel.
Normally requires no instructions
on routine work, and general instructions
on new assignments.
Highly motivated with the ability to work
on a team as well as independently
and drive results.
MS Great Plains with report designer skills
a plus, but not a requirement.
WORK POSTURE REQUIREMENT
