Assistant Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily order fulfillment activities, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping preparation
- Partner with customer service team to understand consumer pain points and work on initiatives to improve customer experience
- Optimizing procurement of inventory by improving vendor relationships, performance, and lead times
- Managing a dynamic team of production supervisors, full-time and part-time warehouse staff, and other direct reports
- Reporting weekly on multiple fulfillment and performance KPIs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
- Enthusiastic about a growing company and passionate about animals and improving their lives
- E-commerce fulfillment experience 3-5 years preferred
- Experience with shipping software (Shipstation), Shopify required
- Amazon Seller central, eBay, Etsy, Walmart platform experience preferred
- Technically proficient, experience with printers and thermal printers required
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.) and Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Calendar, Drive, etc)
- High level of effective interpersonal skills, excellent customer service approach, and ability to maintain effective working relationships and accommodate diverse working styles
- Detail-oriented, logical and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high-level and consistent work ethic in all work-related duties
- Must be fluent in English. Bilingual in Korean or Spanish preferred
- Ability to lift 30 pounds on occasion and 20 plus pounds regularly
Rate:
$18 - $22 per hour
Note:
- On-site work at 25,000 sq ft state-of-art warehouse/production facility: 6255 N Hollywood Blvd, Suite 150, Las Vegas, NV 89115; Must be able to commute to the location
- M-F 7am to 3:30pm (with 30 minutes lunch)
- PTO and Medical Benefits package availability upon completion of probationary period.
